RA Summer Exhibition 2023
We’re delighted to announce that two of our published editions by Amy Gear were selected for this year’s RA Summer Exhibition.
The 255th Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition, coordinated by British painter David Remfry RA with the theme ‘Only Connect’ has officially opened to the public.
Featured in Gallery V, hung by recently elected Academician Katherine Jones RA, are two screenprints by Amy Gear, ‘Inverted Or Protruding’ (#555) and ‘Your Peaks and Troughs, Every Curve of Your Emotions’ (#564), produced and published by Atelier JI in 2017.
“A painter and printmaker herself, Jones has been drawn to works that embody both disciplines. [In Gallery V], painterly prints can be found hanging next to pieces by artists whose work sits between the two mediums.”

Amy Gear, ‘Inverted Or Protruding’, 2017 and ‘Your Peaks and Troughs, Every Curve of Your Emotions’, 2017 are available for purchase exclusively from Atelier JI and at the RA Summer Exhibition 2023.
Meanwhile, in Gallery IV, hung by Bill Jacklin RA, are our recent productions of ‘Caravaggio (green)’ (#401) and ‘Da Vinci (blue)’ (#631) by Sir Michael Craig-Martin RA for his solo exhibition, ‘Past Present’, at Cristea Roberts Gallery in 2022.
As always, it’s a pleasure to see the work we produce in the studio at the Summer Exhibition and we’re incredibly proud of Amy Gear’s selection and our team for their hard work.
