Remi Rough is an abstract painter whose work is steeped in the history of Style writing, Suprematism and Abstract Impressionism yet nods to the future of modernist painting.
We’ve had the pleasure of publishing two collaborative editions with Rough, the most recent of which, the ‘Watching my name go by’ screenprints featured 14 unique monoprints produced by the artist at our studio. Our 2021 collaboration, ‘Style Writer Extraordinaire’ was produced duing Rough’s Atelier JI residency, where the he created original artwork to create an etching series including 7 monotypes.
