Sarah Woodburn

Sarah Woodburn (b. 1982) is an abstract artist that lives and works in Woking and London. Through a process of image gathering, sketching and experimentation, marks, outlines, stains and shapes are composed, disrupted, re-drawn and layered one by one. Woodburn’s compositions form organically – but each decision from start to finish is a balancing act, each mark on the canvas informs the next and dictates the direction, mood, colour and tempo of the work. 

In 2022, Atelier JI proudly published her edition ‘Still Life’ for presentation at the 2022 Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair.
